The Economistの2回目です。同じニュースの続きのところです。0:59あたりから論説委員のような女性が出てきて解説します。短いですが、1:45あたりまでを聞き取ります。相当早口で、難しかったです!
<聞きとれなかった箇所>

you knowとsort ofが口癖ですね。
前回イギリス英語はあまりくずれないなんて言いましたが、これはくずれていますね。
halt → holdと間違えました。「取引を停止する」という意味だろうという推測は合っていました。
digging into sort of → ここは難しかったですね。「一考する」という意味だろうと思ったのですが、この熟語が出てきませんでした。
likeliest theory → これも上級です。likeliest「最有力の、最も~しそうな」
sheer → 株価の話なので、shareと聞き間違えました。ここは音で聞き取るというより、文脈から「単なる量と単なる額」という意味だと聞き取るのがよいでしょう。
you know, there are estimates out there that → there are estimatesという表現になじみがなく、出てきませんでした。out thereもくずれやすくて毎回聞き落とす熟語です。
皆さんはどのくらい聞き取れましたか? 単語としては知っていても「この語と続いて出てくることに聞きなじみがない」という理由で聞き取れないことがよくあります。つながり、まとまりで聞き取る練習が大切ですね。
